Over 8 years strong, this father and son duo is still taking the industry by storm. From custom cabinets and tiling to full remodels, Dominick (left) and Vinnie (right) leave no stone unturned.

Through years of shadowing in his father-in-laws lumber yard and custom cabinet shop, Dominick gathered over 20 years of first hand experience in the woodworking industry. He then put in 15 years with a fellow carpenter. Together the two ran construction projects and built custom cabinetry throughout Central Jersey; working for both residential and commercial names, such as: Ortho Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, and many other medical facilities. Years later, when his one and only son found a shared interest, he couldn't be more than thrilled to join forces.

Vinnie began his love for wood in his grandfather's shop, back in middle school. He then moved on to attend 3 years of vocational school, and continued mastering his construction trade. Throughout that time, Vinnie held 3 consecutive State Champion titles in the annual SkillsUSA construction competition. Where he then proceeded to National's, and walked away with the title of 4th place in the Nation. During this time, he teamed up with his father and D & V Home Improvements was born. Along with running D & V, Vinnie still finds time to volunteer in judging the same SkillsUSA competition, which lead him to the successful career path he follows today.

Like they say, there is no stronger bond than family; not to mention father and son. Now, with over 45+ years of combined experience these two have made it their mission to bring high quality craftsmanship to each job they tackle. Their beautiful work can be found in homes, restaurants, office buildings, and store fronts all throughout New Jersey, and surrounding states.
